My Review:
Creel is a young girl who only drams of becoming a dressmaker. Unfortunately, her aunt has different ideas. Namely, to sacrifice Creel to a dragon and have a handsome young man save and marry her. Naturally, Creel is far from happy with this turn of events.
After a lot of confusion, Creel sets off to the King's Seat to seek her fortune. Instead, she gets a huge adventure with royalty, wars, dragons, sewing, a handsome prince, a ball, and a pair of very magical blue slippers.
I highly recommend this book. Creel and her friends Marta, Prince Luka, and Shardas are extremely believable and likable characters, and their enemies are just as un-likable. The writing is fun, and there's always something happening to keep readers interested. The plot is fun and imaginative.
